Western’s Smokehouse is located on 1978 Western Drive in Greentop, Missouri and we are very easy to find. Follow Highway 63 and we are on the west side of the road. Just look for the big sign with the three cowboys on their horses.
What products does Western’s Smokehouse make?
While Western’s has a long tradition of producing an entire line of premium quality smoked meat products, only our meat snack sticks are available through traditional retail and distribution outlets. All other products must be purchased from our Online Store or from our Retail Store located in Greentop, Missouri.

Western’s uses only choice cuts of meat from USDA approved and inspected facilities in the United States.

They are not.

There is no MSG in Western’s snack sticks except for Sweet Maple Bacon and Mandarin Teriyaki flavors.

Yes. The Smart Stix line of snack sticks meet the guidelines set forth by the USDA for “smart snacks” in schools. Western’s is also a proud partner with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, and is officially listed as a certified smart snack on the Product Navigator section of their website.
Do your snack sticks have to be refrigerated?
No. It is best to store Western’s snack sticks under cool, dry conditions with an ideal temperature range between 55 – 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
What is the shelf life of your snack sticks?
Shelf life is one year and one month (13 months) from the production date if properly stored in unopened original packaging containers.
What does it mean if mold is observed in an unopened package?
Western’s products are not doused in preservatives. If mold is detected in a package that is unopened, it is likely an indication that the package’s seal has been compromised, commonly referred to as a “leaker”. Mold is common among similar products like bread and cheese once it has been exposed to the environment. Although, this mold that grows on fermented meat sticks is not harmful, moldy product should not be consumed.
